Win a Berenice DVD a week!

While many might call it "shameless," "pathetic," "desperate," "hopeless," MCP Senior Partners prefer to think of the weekly Berenice DVD raffle as a real "kick in the marketing crotch."
According the the www.eatthemushroom.com website, MCP will award 1 lucky winner each and every week with a free Edgar Allan Poe's Berenice DVD Edition. All you need to do to enter is register each week on their website.
The raffle is set to continue "as long as they feel like it," before slowing down to 1 DVD per month or maybe per year. Whatever it is, it's obvious these guys just don't know.
"What we're trying to do is get the film out there and into people's homes," explains Self Appointed President Geoffrey Ciani. "Go to Spielberg and try and get a free DVD. See what he tells you."
Mr. Spielberg was unavailable for comment and, except for the copies of Hook and Jurassic Park II lying in the trash outside his Beverly Hills home, MCP editorial staff was unable to obtain any free DVDs.
The terms of the Berenice DVD contest are very simple. All you need to do to enter is register each week. Winners will be chosen on Tuesday or Wednesday and a new contest will begin.
MCP promises not to share personal information with any outside agencies, but we do reserve the right to list winners on our aptly-titled "Winners Page."
